TOURNAMENT GENERAL INFO

All teams will be guaranteed a three games round robin tournament and a possibility of two playoff games on Sunday.

Applications will be reviewed and teams will be notified of their acceptance by the Tournament Director. All teams are confirmed on a first come first served basis.
Location: All games are played in the 4-pads arenas at the Kingston Invista Multiplex Community Centre, Kingston, On, Canada where you can enjoy the tourism attractions of the region. For overseas teams, you will not regret it and we promise you that you will enjoy a relaxing hockey and a family atmosphere while visiting North America.

8 Divisions are offered:
Men A (Most Competitive level)
Men B (Less Competitive level)
Men C (Recreational level)
Men 35+ (Gentlemen competitive level)
Men 45+ (Recreational level)
Women B (Competitive level)
Women C Open Skill (Recreational level-Ligue de Garage)
Enterprise - Co-Ed: Open Skill (Participation only)

Tournament Features & Highlights

Tournament Format - Preliminary round

3 games guarantee and "(2) 16-minutes periods stopped-time". No overtime.
Pre-game warm-up will be two minutes non-stopped time.
No Timeout during the preliminary round.

Tournament Format - Playoff Format on Sunday

The two top teams in each division advance to the Playoff Round. If they are more than 4 teams teams in one division, the three teams in each division will advance to the Playoff Round with a bye for the first place (semi and final). If they are more than 5 teams teams in one division, the four teams in each division will advance to the Playoff Round (semi and final).
Each playoff game will consist of "(2) 15-minute periods" stopped -time with "5-on-5 Game" format. There will be a "five minute overtime" ("3-on-3") and a shootout until there is a winner and a loser. Pre-game warm-ups will be two minutes non-stopped time.
One "30-second timeout" will be permitted for each team.

Entry fee: $835 for MEN (including 13% ON Harmonized Sales Tax): $385.00 down payment required to hold your spot by March 1th, 2011; & $450.00 final payment required by March 28th, 2011; AND $749 for WOMEN (including 13% ON Harmonized Sales Tax): $399.00 down payment required by March 1th, 2011; & $350.00 final payment required by March 28th, 2011.
Cancellation Policy: Teams canceling 6 weeks or less prior to the start of the tournament will forfeit their deposit.

Insurance: All teams must arrange for their own insurance. If you need insurance for your team, please visit sportsinsurance.com and contact/talk to an agent to insure your team for the tournament.
