KAHC CONNECTS WITH THE JUVENILE DIABETES
FOUNDATION!
The Direction of the Kingston Adult Hockey
Classic is
proud to contribute financially to the Juvenile Diabetes Research
Foundation. Activities will take during this event and proceeds from these
activities will be returned for a
good community cause... Also, some proceeds from the gate entry
fee will be returned to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Founded
in 1974 by the parents of children with juvenile
diabetes, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is
the leading charitable advocate of Type 1 diabetes
research worldwide. Juvenile diabetes is a disease
which strikes children suddenly, making them
insulin-dependent for life and carries the constant
threat of devastating complications.
The Direction of the Kingston
Adult Hockey Classic is proud to be a supporter of the
Diabetes Research Foundation. These are
exciting times to be involved with this foundation as
they continue to strive for a cure with the
collaboration and enthusiasm from our staff, players,
and teams managers.
We will like to thank
volunteers from the Kingston Diabetes Foundation for
their collaboration, help, and support during this
KAHC tournament weekend.
Visit their web site at
http://www.jdrf.ca and learn much more about this
organization serving the needs of all kids with this
disease.
We encourage all teams taking
part in
this major hockey adult classic event in Kingston to contribute for a good
cause. Thank you!
